Michigan vacation rentals : cabins ~ are 2 bedroom each with a full size bed. Each Houghton Lake Michigan cabin rental features a newly remodeled bathroom, kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster. Living room with 27" Cable TV, VCR/DVD combo, 5 speaker 130 Watt Dolby Surround sound system w/stereo & CD player, and a full size sofa sleeper. All our Houghton Lake rental cabins have an outdoor picnic table & charcoal grill. Accommodating up to 6. Rental Cabins with air conditioning are 50.00 additional per week. The rental cabins are surrounded and shaded by dozens of oak trees.
Michigan vacation rentals : Chalets ~ are 2 bedroom and a loft (loft has 2 full size beds). Each Houghton Lake Michigan vacation chalet has a newly tiled bathroom, kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster. Living room has 27" Cable TV, VCR/DVD combo, 5 speaker 130 Watt Dolby Surround sound system w/stereo & CD player. All of our Michigan rental cabins and chalets have an outdoor picnic table & charcoal grill. Accommodating up to 8. All rental chalets are Air conditioned.

American Oak Family Vacation Resort offers a sandy beach, 300 foot dock, rowboats. We do not have a seawall.
There's also a sand volleyball pit, bonfire pit & a kids play area, great for your next Michigan family vacation.
Our Family Vacation Resort is close to shopping and two go-cart tracks. There is also a Houghton Lake public beach nearby.
The Houghton Lake community center is across the street and has 2 full size tennis courts, a 5 minute walk.
